Just passing through

In the 1960’s at age fifteen I began rhyming my thoughts and experiences. Now, hundreds of poems later, I’m still doing it.

I’ve sort of summed me up in iambic pentameter.

Some samples are within the categories under PAM’S POETRY.

About

Published on 30 June 2008

I began writing poetry in the 1960’s at age fifteen, and still do.

Movies are my favorite recreation.

Meditation is my touchstone.

NPR is my favorite radio station.

Travel is my true love.

Marketing is my profession.

My company is www.whitestoneconcepts.com.

My email is pamela@whitestoneconcepts.com

I wrote this poem at twenty-nine. It still rings true at sixty-two.

TWENTY-NINE

I want my life stacked neatly on a shelf

My books, my creams, my notes, my dreams

Shelf by shelf, my self, on solid oak.

Or, maybe shelves of Louis Vuiton

That fold into a trunk for when I’m ready to move on.

That about sums me up.
