1976 - Twenty-Nine

I want my life stacked neatly on a shelf

My books, my creams, my notes, my dreams

Shelf by shelf, my self, on solid oak.

Or, maybe shelves of Louis Vuiton

That fold into a trunk

For when I’m ready to move on.
